Spinning My Wheels?

Spinning My Wheels?

Hello everyone and thank you all for following my story. We went through number 3 IUI on Monday. Everyone looked better than it has on either of the other 2 IUI. We did try something a little different as I felt like we have been spinning out wheels for the last 2 cycles. I took the trigger shot 36 hours before the IUI. I started my progesterone 24 hours after the procedure. Also had intercourse on Friday and Tuesday as instructed. My largest follicle was only 20mm. That is not considered mature. Also, my endometrium lining was only 7.6. It was striated, but was not completely thick enough. After talking with the nurse practitioner that was doing my ultrasound we agreed to wait 48 hours and make the few changes. Normally depending on the thickness of the endometrium lining and the size of the follicle you take the trigger shot that day or the next day. After you  take the shot you have the IUI procedure within the next 24 hours. This was not seeming to work for me. My body seems to be failing me the last several months. It has been super hard to have another 2 negatives. If this cycle does not work, we will consulting with the infertility specialist next month. This will just be to see what we can tweak hoping this will work. My job and supervisor has been super understanding with letting me off last minute. They have actually stood behind all the time I have needed off. I could not be more thankful to my boss or employer. I know alot of employeers are not that understanding and will not let people off last minute or let them take as much time off in the last 3 months as I have had to. So now at this point I just wait another entire week to see if it worked. That is the hardest part of the whole thing.
